The fate of newspapers is a much discussed topic these days. Strangely enough, it鈥檚 debated mostly in newspapers, which is ironic on two fronts. Why is the topic in the papers so often if, as many say, newspapers are sliding away? Second, why do newspapers concentrate so much on their own demise?

It鈥檚 barely 60 days until the April 19 水果视频 election. The legislature is scheduled to sit for a few days in between. Many cabinet ministers and sitting MLAs (mostly on the government side) aren鈥檛 going to run again. It looks like there could be a change in government.
