My Perspective - Eighteen months and one per cent

Eighteen months, it has been that long since the provincial NDP government raised the PST by one per cent.  Eighteen months seems to be how long it has taken for dissention among 水果视频ns as a whole to grow and spread into the ranks of the NDP government. While the opposition party鈥檚 lawsuit to reverse the illegal tax increase failed, they might still win in the end.

Right in the Centre - Shelf Life

We used to call it 鈥済etting stale鈥 but today, most products are measured in terms of shelf life. Usage of the term has spread from the grocery store to all phases of life. It applies to politicians with equal ease. The term 鈥渟helf life鈥 has been applied to the 水果视频 NDP  party in general and is being applied specifically this week to Premier Greg Selinger.

Right in the Centre - 25 more years, maybe?

It鈥檚 been 25 years, as of October 23, since the first edition of the Neepawa Banner was published. We took over the Rivers Banner/Gazette/Reporter a few years later.Time didn鈥檛 exactly fly by, but maybe that鈥檚 because we weren鈥檛 having fun all the time.
