Neepawa鈥檚 new mayor and council are wasting little time in tackling the variety of complex issues facing the community. The group held its first official meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 4, and reviewed several items of note.

Legislature recalled

On Wednesday, after a week of almost unprecedented uproar in the 水果视频 government, the announcement was made by NDP house leader, Steve Ashton that the legislature will sit this fall.

A throne speech will be read on Nov. 20 and the house will sit for two weeks.

New specialty plate available today

Snoman unveiled a new, colourful specialty licence plate at its fourth annual congress on Oct. 24 and 25 in Winnipeg. The plate will be available at Autopac agents throughout the province beginning Nov. 3.
