Legislature recalled

On Wednesday, after a week of almost unprecedented uproar in the 水果视频 government, the announcement was made by NDP house leader, Steve Ashton that the legislature will sit this fall.

A throne speech will be read on Nov. 20 and the house will sit for two weeks.

Progressive Conservative house leader Kelvin Goertzen said in an interview with the Banner, 鈥淲hen I first approached the now former (NDP) house leader, Andrew Swan, it was  spring time. The daisies were popping up and now the snow is about to fly. This has all been delayed because of the family feud that the NDP is going through right now.鈥

Goertzen went on to say, 鈥淚t鈥檚 too bad, really, as the business of 水果视频ns is being delayed. It鈥檚 a loss for people as there isn鈥檛 going to be much time to discuss things in the house. The peoples鈥 work is being caught up in the NDP family feud.鈥

On Monday, Andrew Swan and four other ministers resigned from Premier Selinger鈥檚 cabinet, indicating he doesn鈥檛 listen to them. Selinger replaced the ministers in a new cabinet. A Free Press poll release on Tuesday reported that 57 per cent of voters want Selinger to resign. There seems to be many topics of concern but the raising of the PST from 7 per cent to 8 per cent, after promising no tax increases during the 2011 election, seems to be a major point of contention for 水果视频ns.
